It 's a strange novel, this one.

In the diary comes a bit 'all the daily news, a fantastic evolution of facts that have already happened, and lies, dreams, considerations, but each time the author is to report the truth by analyzing the reasons which led him to write falsehoods.
Central in the Diary, which is preparatory to the novel, the relationship between the protagonist and Baba, teenage daughter of his wife, including incestuous temptations and attempts to create a normal relationship within a family that has nothing to normal.
Has anyone considered that this novel, for conciseness of language, moral and artistic dryness, is the most successful of all the work of Moravia.
