The tone of the book is light and ironic, objects to absurdity, inconsistency, contradictions and false history of the Bible, incidentally are the years scholars such as Mario Liverpool Professor of History of the Ancient Near East at the University of Rome, author of Beyond Bible. Odifreddi This justifies the need of citizens in the preface that he should be charged the defense of secularism, to remedy the deficiencies of their representatives:
