Why Do Sucker Fish Die

John Grisham-Mondadori - 2002

This fun little book that a friend gave me a few years ago, it seems appropriate to read these days obsessed with Christmas themes.

A mature married couple Americans, accompanying her daughter leaving for a humanitarian mission in Peru, decided to spend a different Christmas, for a leisure cruise in the Caribbean.

Nothing easier to achieve, "but Christmas, with its extraordinary power of consumerism, with its cumbersome presence moralistic, is about to take the most scathing and hilarious revenge on the poor and Mrs Krank.

A classic tale of modern times, an ironic provocation to enjoy moments of fun and makes us discover John Grisham brilliant writer of comedy and humor disenchanted observer of a tradition that we can not do without. " (from 2nd cover)
